Maarten Sengers is an export compliance consultant based in Washington, DC and is a Principal of Trade Controls Consulting. He has well over 20 years of advisory experience on all aspects of EAR, ITAR and US sanctions compliance. He works for a wide variety of companies in diverse industries both in and outside the US.

His work includes providing day-to-day export compliance advice to corporate export compliance and legal departments, assisting with developing or improving export compliance programs and procedures, supporting special compliance monitorships, conducting compliance assessments, supporting law firms in major enforcement cases, drafting complex export license or other government regulatory submissions, and conducting export compliance training.

Mr. Sengers was an original co-founder of ECTI and holds a Juris Doctor from the College of William and Mary.
